Substituição Tributária ICMS:
No exercício de suas atividades, o Fisco vem continuamente buscando maneiras que assegurem uma arrecadação eficiente e de fácil fiscalização.
A adoção da substituição tributária de ICMS consiste na atribuição da responsabilidade do pagamento do ICMS a determinado(s) contribuinte(s), em relação às operações/prestações praticadas por outros.
Cabe salientar que a prática da substituição tributária vem sendo amplamente utilizada pelos Estados e sua complexidade está levando muitos transtornos para os contribuintes que praticam operações de comércio em seus Estados e no âmbito interestadual, devido as particularidades impostas por este regime tributário.
Muitos são os motivadores para a desconfiança do contribuinte em suas operações mercantis, pois a falta de uniformidade de legislação entre os Estados brasileiros, a falta de estrutura interna das empresas e a complexidade no entendimento das normas pelo fisco, desafiam a indústria, comércio e prestadores de serviços brasileiros, para cumprirem adequadamente as obrigações tributárias impostas pelo regime de ST-ICMS.
As empresas podem minimizar sua burocracia diária e financeira adotando o pagamento mensal do ICMS ST, solicitando inscrições de substituto tributário nos Estados que promoverem suas saídas de mercadorias (o ICMS ST deve ser pago por operação para o contribuinte sem inscrição de ST) e ajudam em seu fluxo de caixa.
